Skark Foundation

Skark Foundation is located at Door No.17, on the 1st Floor. We are on 02nd Street in Ponnangipuram, which is part of the Nungambakkam area. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a decent enough spot once you get there. The office is a bit cramped because we have quite a few things stored in the corners. We aren't really the type to care about interior design. As long as the lights work and we have a place to sit, we are happy. Ponnangipuram is an interesting little pocket of Nungambakkam. It’s got a mix of old houses and newer buildings. Our street is usually quite narrow, so parking can be a bit of a nightmare. We mostly just walk or take the bus. We don't have any big mission statements or promotional goals. We just show up every day and do the tasks that need doing. It’s a very human way of working. We know the people in the building next door and the guy who sells fruit at the corner. Sometimes we get a bit behind on things, but we always catch up eventually. Skark Foundation is just a small group of us trying to be useful. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy. We like the neighborhood and the people around here. We usually have the windows open to let in some air.
