Our lab is situated over at 16 and 17 in the Golden Jubilee Biotech Park for Women. It’s inside the Sipcot Siruseri IT Park, right near the bus stop. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't used to the commute, but the park itself is quite organized. We do a lot of science work here, mostly looking into different biological samples. It isn't like the movies; it’s mostly just sitting at benches and writing down notes in journals. The building has a lot of rules because of the nature of the work. We have a small group of researchers who are quite dedicated. Sometimes the equipment is finicky and we have to spend hours troubleshooting it. We don't have a big marketing team telling everyone what we do. We just focus on the experiments and the data. The canteen nearby is where we spend most of our breaks. It’s a quiet place compared to the city center. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing our thing in the lab. It gets a bit lonely out in Siruseri late at night, but the security is good. We’re just a practical bunch of people trying to figure things out. Sometimes the results aren't what we expect, but that is just how science goes.
