Shreyaaz Info Media is located at number 3-4, Flat No. BF-1 on Perumal Koil Street in Nerkundram. It is a residential kind of area, so it’s usually quieter than the main roads. We work out of a flat, which makes it feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We have our computers set up in the main room and wires running along the baseboards. It is mostly us sitting around screens, working on different media projects. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around to make space for more equipment. The street outside is narrow and has a temple nearby, so we hear the bells and the morning prayers. It is a nice change from the usual city noise. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one near the door so people know they have the right flat. We drink a lot of coffee while we are editing or looking at data. It is just a few of us here. We don’t really do formal meetings. We just talk across the desks to get things sorted. The balcony is where we go when we need to take a phone call or just get some fresh air. Nerkundram is a decent place to be based. It is not right in the middle of the city, which suits us just fine. We just keep doing our thing here at BF-1 and try to stay on top of the work.
