Our office is located at 18, Teachers Guild Colony in the Villivakkam area. Seed Nri Consultancy Services is basically where we help folks with all the paperwork and headaches that come with living abroad or moving back. It is a quiet neighborhood, which is nice because it lets us focus on the details of the documents we handle. There is always a lot of reading and checking things twice. We have stacks of files on the desks, and the filing cabinet in the corner is getting pretty full. People come to us when they are confused about rules or need someone to help them navigate the system. We aren't big shots or high-powered consultants. We are just regular people who have learned how the process works and want to share that knowledge. Sometimes the regulations change, and we have to spend the whole morning catching up on new rules. It can be tedious work, but it’s important to the people who rely on us. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day for anyone who drops by. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and desks and a lot of paper. We’ve been in Villivakkam for a good bit now and we know the locals. We just try to be helpful and honest about what can be done and how long it will take. The ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we’ve all stopped noticing, but visitors usually mention it when they first walk into the room.
