Sangamam Women Future Foundation

We are based over at 6/6, Jai Krishna Nagar in Puliyampatti, which is in Pollachi, Coimbatore. Around here, people call us the Sangamam Women Future Foundation. We’re not a big organization with a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a small space where a few of us get together to try and help the women in our neighborhood. Some days we are busy with paperwork, and other days we are just sitting and talking to people who walk through the door. It’s a local effort, and we’ve been in this part of Tamil Nadu for a long time. We don't have a marketing team to make us sound important. We’re just regular people who saw a need and decided to do something about it. Living in Pollachi is nice, and we like being part of the community here. The office isn't always perfectly tidy, and we often have too many things going on at once. That’s just how it is when you’re doing real work. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to see if we can make life a bit better for the people living nearby. If you come by Jai Krishna Nagar, you’ll probably find us working on something practical. We don't use big words to explain ourselves. We just do the work and hope it helps. It’s been a long road, but we’re still here.
