Samam Foundation

We are based at No.74 B3 in Venkatesh Nagar, specifically on the 1st cross street. This part of Chennai can be quite busy, especially in the mornings. Our office is part of the Chennai City Corporation area. We have been here for a while now. It is a standard building, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our desks and a small area where we keep all our files. We work on foundation stuff, mostly focusing on things that matter to the local people in Tamil Nadu. There are about four of us who are here regularly. Sometimes we have visitors, but usually, it is just us working through our list for the day. The tea shop nearby is where we go when we need a break. Living and working in Chennai means we are used to the heat and the traffic. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. We like it that way because it keeps things honest. We are just trying to do our part in the city. The address 600092 is home for our work. It is a practical space for practical people. We don't spend money on fancy things, we just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the traffic on the first cross street is a bit much, but we have gotten used to the noise.
