Our office is tucked away in Shyamala Towers on Arcot Road, specifically up on Level 3 in the Regus Shyamala Gardens section. If you have ever driven through Saligramam, you know how the traffic can get. It is quite a climb if the lift is acting up, but usually, it is okay. We deal with home solutions, which basically means we help people figure out how to fix up their houses or manage their space better. It is a small team here. Most of us spend our time on the phone or looking at sketches and lists. The office itself is one of those shared spaces, so it’s fairly quiet, though you can hear the hum of the air conditioner all day long. We don't have a big showroom with flashy displays. Mostly, it is just us with our laptops and a few samples of materials sitting on the desks. Sometimes we go out to meet people at their homes because it’s easier to see the problems there than to talk about them in a tower block. Arcot Road is a loud place, full of shops and people, so being up on the third floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise. We have been working out of this spot for a while and it suits us fine for now. It is just a practical place for us to get our work done. We are just regular people trying to make homes work a bit better.
