We are located in the Ashok Kailash Apartments, specifically at A1 on the ground floor. It’s the old number 206 but the new number 72, which confuses some of the delivery drivers who are looking for us on Ramaswamy Salai. Being so close to the Padma Seshadri school means we hear the school bells and the kids shouting all day long. It gets especially crowded in the afternoon when parents are waiting to pick up their children and they block the entrance near the SBI. Inside the clinic, it’s mostly the sound of the dental drills and the water sprayer. We have a few different rooms because we handle different things, but it’s still an apartment-style layout. The tiles are white and we try to keep them shining, though the K K Nagar dust makes that a daily battle. We have some posters on the wall about teeth, but they are getting a bit faded now. Most of our patients are local residents who live in the same apartment block or just around the corner. We spend a lot of time explaining things to people who are nervous about the chair. The waiting area has a few chairs and some old newspapers. It’s a busy little corner of West K K Nagar, and we’ve become a part of the daily scenery for the people walking to the bank or the school every morning. We don't use much fancy talk here, we just fix the teeth that need fixing.
