S R Fire & Safety Systems

Our shop is at number 37 on Thiruvalluvar Street in M G R Nagar, which is part of the K K Nagar area. It’s a regular residential-turned-commercial street, and we’ve been here for a good while. We mostly deal with fire extinguishers, alarms, and all the safety bits people need for their buildings. It’s important work, but we don't treat it like a big corporate thing. It’s more about making sure the canisters are full and the sensors actually work when they should. The office is small and usually smells a bit like metal and dust. We have a lot of equipment stacked up against the walls. We spend our days visiting local shops and apartments to check their setups. It’s a lot of walking and climbing stairs. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just write down our jobs in a big ledger and go where we’re needed. People in the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We try to be honest about what needs replacing and what can wait. It’s just us trying to keep the place safe without charging an arm and a leg. Sometimes we sit out front when it’s quiet and watch the traffic go by on Thiruvalluvar Street. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We just want to make sure the fire gear is ready just in case it’s ever actually needed by someone.
