If you head down Gnt Road into Kamachiamman Nagar, you’ll find us at number 95/7. Madavaram is a busy area, and being right on the road means there’s never a quiet moment. We started Rvn Traders because we saw a need for a place that actually keeps things in stock. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and checking lists under the lights. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit there in the dark for a bit, but that’s just part of life here. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a trading business where we keep the shelves filled. The floor is concrete and gets pretty cold in the winter months, but in the summer, it’s like an oven. We usually leave the front shutters open so we can see what’s happening on the street. You see all sorts of people walking by in Madavaram. We’ve got a small area in the back for the stuff that shouldn't get wet. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the goods, but you get used to it. We don't have fancy signs or anything, just the name on the front and the address. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We know the regular customers who come in every week for their supplies. It's just us doing our thing on Gnt Road.
