Rajini Confectioners Pvt Ltd

We have been running Rajini Confectioners Pvt Ltd for quite some time now over on G P Road. It is the old No 62 building, right near Express Avenue in Mount Road. If you know Chennai, you know this area gets busy fast. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready in the back. There is always a lot of work to do with the dough and the sugars. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when the weather is humid. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The shop is small but it gets the job done for us. It is a family kind of setup where everyone knows what their job is. People stop by while they are out shopping or heading to work. We see the same faces every week and it is nice to have that routine. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for people to park, but they still find a way to get to us. We do not have fancy decorations or anything. It is just a regular place where we make our sweets and snacks. The address has changed numbers over the years, but we are still in the same spot. We do not really have a big staff, just a few of us who have been here forever. Sometimes the oven gets too hot in the summer, but we manage. You get used to the noise from Mount Road after a few years. It becomes like background music while you work.
