Raahath Chinese Acupuncture Herbal Clinic & Research Centre

We are located at number 218 in P-Block of the MMDA Colony in Arumbakkam. If you are looking for us, we are right opposite the mosque, which is a big landmark in this neighborhood. Our clinic is a bit different from the usual ones you see because we focus on acupuncture and herbal treatments. When you walk in, you will definitely notice the smell of the various dried herbs we keep in jars. It’s a very distinct scent. We have small rooms with curtains where the acupuncture sessions happen. It’s a simple, functional space without any fancy decorations. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the locals in Arumbakkam know us well. We also have a research side where we look into how these traditional methods work, but most of our day is spent actually helping the people who come in with various aches and pains. The clinic is usually busy in the late afternoon when people finish their work. We have a small waiting area with some wooden benches. It’s not a high-tech place, we use the old methods that have been around for a long time. The staff is small, just a few people who know how to handle the needles and the herbs. It’s a quiet, serious place where we just focus on the work at hand and try to help our patients feel a bit more comfortable.
