You can find R V D & Company at number 62 in Medavakkam. We are situated right at the back side of the bus stand, which means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around nearby. Sometimes people who are lost come into our office thinking it is part of the bus station, and we have to point them in the right direction. Being behind the stand is actually quite convenient for us because it makes it easy for our staff to get to work. The building itself is a bit old, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We have a lot of ledgers and boxes stacked up in the corners because we do not like to throw things away if they might be useful later. The office is usually a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time on the phone or working through the paperwork for the business. It is a very straightforward way of working. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone like that; we just rely on the fact that we have been in this spot for years. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually go when we need a break from the desks. It is just a plain, hardworking environment.
