If you know Korattur, you probably know where TVS Shanthi Nagar is. We are right near there at No 8. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache when everyone arrives at the same time in the morning. Purushothaman & Co has been operating out of this space for a good bit of time now. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose well enough. Usually, the first thing we do is get the fans going because it gets stuffy in the heat. There’s a lot of paper moving across the desks here. We spend our hours filing things, talking on the phone, and occasionally dealing with the delivery guys who bring supplies. The neighbors are mostly quiet, which is nice for getting things done. We don't have a big sign out front that lights up or anything like that. Most people who come here already know the address and what they’re looking for. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the stacks of folders get a little high when we’re busy. Around five or six, we start winding down and locking things up for the night. It’s just a normal business day in a normal part of town. We’ve grown accustomed to the rhythm of the neighborhood and the way the light changes in the office as the sun goes down over Korattur in the evening.
