Our office is located in Ashoknagar at New No 56 on 53rd Street, which is just a short walk off 9th Avenue. Ashoknagar is a nice, green part of Chennai with lots of trees and a bit more breathing room than the more industrial districts. We operate out of a space that actually used to be a private residence, so it has a very comfortable and homey feel to it. We aren't the kind of company that has a large reception desk or a waiting area with magazines and fancy lighting. You just walk through the door and you will see the rest of us sitting at our workstations. We have a small wooden table over in the corner where we sit if we need to have a group chat about a project. Most of the time, the only sounds you hear are keyboards clicking and the occasional phone ringing. We don't use any complicated management systems; we just stick to our notebooks and some basic software to keep track of what we are supposed to be doing. The street outside is usually fairly quiet, which helps us stay focused on the consulting work we need to get through. Sometimes the neighbors will stop by to say hello, or we see the same people walking their dogs past the window every evening. It feels more like a small community here than a cold business park. We just do our work and keep things moving along.
