Polydent Dental Clinic

Polydent Dental Clinic is up on the first floor at number 163. It’s right on Tiruvalluvar Salai, so you can see the road from the windows if you're waiting. The stairs are a bit steep, so people usually take their time coming up. We’ve been here for a bit, just looking after people's teeth and doing the basic dental work that everyone needs eventually. The room isn't very big, but we fit the chairs in and have a small area where you can sit and wait. It gets quite bright in the mornings when the sun comes through. We keep the equipment clean and ready, and there’s usually some low noise from the machines running. We don't have a big staff, just us and a couple of helpers. People from the neighborhood usually just walk in after they finish their shopping or on their way home from work. Tiruvalluvar Salai is always active, so there’s no shortage of things to see out the window. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up, and the sound of the engines comes right up to the first floor. We just keep working through it. It’s an honest living, and we know most of the people who come in by their names now. It's just a local dental spot that serves the immediate area without any extra fuss. The sink in the back room drips sometimes, but we’re used to it by now and it doesn't bother us much.
