Pifore Scholastic Foundation

You can find us at Plot No.31, specifically Door No.2/543 on the ground floor. We are located on Kumaran Street in the Balaiah Garden area of Madipakkam. This part of Chennai is always moving, but our street is tucked away enough to be manageable. Pifore Scholastic Foundation is basically a few rooms filled with books, papers, and a couple of old computers. We don't have a big budget for decorating, so the walls are mostly bare except for some calendars. It’s a ground floor spot, which makes it easy to move stuff in and out. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. We aren't some big, slick corporation. We’re just a group of people who come here every morning to work on our projects. Sometimes the rains make the street a bit muddy, but that’s just life in Madipakkam. We have a small table where we take our breaks and talk about things. It’s a very simple, no-nonsense environment. We don't have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets it. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it gets the job done. We like being in Balaiah Garden. It feels like a real place, not some sterile office district. This is just where we happen to be based and we do our best.
