Our location here is at 2, Vijayatown Apartments in Urapakkam. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for an office, being in an apartment complex in Tamil Nadu, but it serves its purpose for our branch. The 603202 area is quite busy these days with all the development happening around the outskirts of the city. We spend our days mostly handling the local distribution and logistics from here. Since we are in an apartment building, it stays relatively cool compared to the warehouses, which is a relief in the summer heat. The staff here at Perfetti Vanmelle are local people, so we usually speak a mix of languages depending on who is visiting. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture, just the desks and files we actually need. It’s quiet enough that we can get through the paperwork without too much distraction. Sometimes we get delivery drivers looking for the entrance because the apartment numbering can be a bit confusing for newcomers. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us all by name. It’s a straightforward job, keeping track of things and making sure everything is moving where it should be. We don’t really do big meetings or presentations here; it’s more about the day-to-day grind of keeping things running. It’s a practical place to work and we like the neighborhood well enough because it isn't as loud as the main city center.
