Our music shop is located at No. 47 B Srp Kovil Street in TVK Nagar, right near the Perambur bus depot. Because of the depot, there is a lot of noise from the buses coming and going all day, but we’ve gotten used to it. Inside the shop, it’s a different kind of noise. We have instruments all over the walls—guitars, some keyboards, and various traditional instruments. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot into a small space. You’ll often find one of us sitting on a stool tuning a guitar or cleaning the dust off a drum kit. We get all kinds of people walking in, from kids looking at their first instrument to older folks who just want to chat about music. The street outside is quite narrow and can get jammed with traffic, especially during the rush hour. We have a small workbench in the back where we do minor repairs and string changes. It’s a mess of wire cutters, extra strings, and polish cloths. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open the doors in the morning and wait to see who comes in. The lighting isn't great, but it gives the place a cozy feel that people seem to like. It’s just a local spot for people who care about instruments and need a place to find them without any pressure.
