Inddumathi Industries

Inddumathi Industries is based at No. 78/277 Mugappair Road in Padi, right in the Ambattur Industrial Estate. It’s a massive industrial area, so there are trucks moving in and out all day long. We are just one of many small units here. Our workshop deals with various industrial parts and bits. It’s loud because of the heavy machinery next door, but we’ve gotten used to it. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, and there’s always a bit of dust. We don’t have a big fancy office. There’s just a small corner with a table where we keep the bills. We mostly spend our time on the machines. Some of the guys have been with us for years. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The traffic on Mugappair Road can be a nightmare in the evenings. We try to finish up before it gets too bad. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the parts we produce are what the customer asked for. It’s a simple operation really. We’ve been in Ambattur for a good long time now. Everyone around here knows we’re just a bunch of folks working hard. Sometimes we have lunch together in the back of the shop when we aren't too busy. It’s a good way to stay sane in this heat.
