O.W.O.S. Foundation

Our office is in Gee Gee Minar on College Road in Nungambakkam. We are in Flat 2E on the second floor. The building itself has been around for a long time and you can tell by the stairs and the way the hallways look. It’s a very busy part of Chennai with all the colleges and shops nearby. Finding a place to park is almost impossible, so most of us just use public transport. The office is quite small and we have a lot of stuff crammed in there. We’ve got filing cabinets lining the walls and a few desks that are always covered in papers. It’s not a very polished environment. The paint is peeling a bit in the corners and the windows rattle when a heavy truck goes by on College Road. We don’t have a big team, just a handful of us who handle everything that comes in. There’s a water cooler in the corner that everyone uses and we usually eat our lunch at our desks. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don’t have any marketing brochures or fancy displays. It’s just an old-school office where we do our foundation work. People who come to visit us usually remark on how busy the street is, but once you’re inside, it’s just the sound of us typing and talking. We try to keep things moving as best we can.
