We are the Naveena Thaiyal Thozhilalargal Association. Our place is located at 3/909 on Pillaiyar Koil Street. That is in the Mettukkuppam area of Oggiamthoraipakkam in Chennai. 600097 is our pincode. Most of us here are tailors or work with fabric. It is a local association for the people who do this kind of work every day. Pillaiyar Koil Street is usually pretty active. We decided to get together because it's better to work as a group than all alone. We aren't some big business. We are just workers. Our office is just a simple room where we can meet and talk. Sometimes the sewing machines are going and it's loud, but that is just how it is. Mettukkuppam is where we mostly live and work. We don't have any polished marketing or anything like that. We just know how to sew and how to help each other out. If you are looking for us, just find the Pillaiyar Koil on our street and we are right nearby. It’s a busy part of Chennai, but we like it here. We've been part of this community for a long time. People know us by name, not by some corporate brand. We keep things simple and honest. Just a group of workers trying to keep the association going for everyone on this side of town. We just hope to keep working and staying together as a group for a long time.
