Naveen Nets & Fabrics

Started here on Vaidhyanathan Street a few years back. It’s a busy spot near Sevenwells, and we’ve gotten used to the noise. Most mornings start with unloading rolls of fabric and checking the nets. We aren't a big flashy company with fancy offices. It is just a workroom where we cut things to size and make sure the edges are straight. Sometimes the power goes out, or the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, but we just wait it out. People come by asking for specific mesh sizes or just to see what kind of cloth we have in stock. My brother usually handles the customers while I stay in the back with the cutting table. It gets hot under the roof in the afternoon, so we drink a lot of tea from the shop next door. We don't really have a big plan for world domination or anything. We just like making things that people actually use in their houses. There’s a lot of dust from the fabric, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning up at the end of the day. It’s hard work, and our hands get tired, but it pays the bills. If you walk past Plot No.51, you’ll probably see us sorting through the inventory or arguing about where a particular roll went. That’s just how we run things here. No big secret to it, just showing up every morning and getting the orders ready for whoever needs them.
