Adhi Mosquito Net

We are tucked away in 2nd Street of Bharathi Nagar, Nesapakkam. It’s a residential area, so it’s usually pretty quiet until the school kids come home. We work out of a small space at 6/9A. Our main thing is making mosquito nets that actually fit the windows people have. A lot of those store-bought ones are useless, so we make them from scratch. We spend hours cutting the mesh and fitting it into frames. Our fingers get a bit sore from the repetitive work, but you get used to it. The shop is usually a mess of aluminum scraps and netting off-cuts. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. If you want to see what we do, you just have to look at what’s on the workbench. Sometimes a customer will bring us a broken frame to fix, and we do our best with it. We don't make any big promises about being the fastest or anything. We just work at our own pace and try to get the jobs done by the date we said. Most of our customers are from the surrounding streets. They know where we are if they have a problem. It’s just us here, working away and trying to stay ahead of the mosquito season. It’s not a fancy business, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy during the long summer months.
