Our business, Muthukrishnan Co, is situated in Vysarpadi, Chennai. We are on Thiru Vi Ka Street. The address is a bit confusing because it has both an old number, 15 1, and a new number, 32. That happens a lot in this part of the city. If you’re looking for us, you just have to find the right stretch of Thiru Vi Ka Street near the main junctions. Chennai can be incredibly hot, and our building definitely feels it. We’ve got some fans going all day to keep the air moving while we handle our daily business. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years, so we’ve seen the streets change and the buildings go up around us. Most of our day is spent at the desks, looking over accounts and managing the logistics of whatever is on the schedule. It’s a noisy area with a lot of traffic and people moving about constantly. Vysarpadi has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. We don't put on any airs here. We wear casual clothes and talk to our customers like they’re our friends, which many of them are. It’s just a regular Chennai office where we work hard and try to stay out of the sun. There’s a tea stall just down the road where we usually go for our breaks. It’s not fancy, but it’s our place.
