Mukesh & Associates

We are located over at New No.4, which used to be No.37, on Gramma First Street. It’s just off Kodambakkam High Road in Nungambakkam, so it’s a pretty central spot for us to get around. Mukesh & Associates has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our office windows. The office is old-fashioned in some ways, but we have all the modern tools we need to get the drawings done right. It’s a busy area, and there’s always noise coming from the main road, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a flashy firm. We focus on the structural side and making sure things are functional for the people who will actually live or work in the buildings. Our team is a mix of people who have been doing this for decades and some younger folks who know their way around the new software. We spend a lot of time checking and re-checking measurements because a small mistake at the start causes a lot of trouble later on. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in what we do, dealing with the city offices and getting all the right stamps. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but it has to be done. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep our clients informed without making things too complicated. We just want the buildings to stay standing.
