Metro Dental Clinic

We are over in Kodambakkam at the Metro Flats. The address can be a little confusing because the old number was 16 but now it is 8. It is on Vellalar Street, which is usually packed with people and parked bikes. Metro Dental Clinic is on the ground floor, so it is easy to walk right in from the street. The space isn't huge, but we make the most of it. There is a small area for waiting where the magazines are usually a few months old. We spend most of our time in the back working on teeth. The sounds of the street come in through the windows, so you can always hear the neighborhood going about its business. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have more than three people waiting at once, but nobody seems to mind too much. We have been here in Kodambakkam long enough that we know the vendors outside and the people living upstairs. It’s a very lived-in kind of place. We don't have a big corporate team managing us. It’s just us doing the work and trying to keep the equipment running smoothly. Sometimes the plumbing acts up because it’s an older building, but we get it fixed and keep going. It is a humble little clinic that serves the folks right here on Vellalar Street. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the last patient is done, keeping things simple and local.
