Medwell Medical Centre is located at NO.29/10 on EVS Chari Road in Srirangam. If you know the area, it’s a place with a lot of history and old-style buildings. Our medical centre fits right into that landscape. Being in Srirangam means we see a lot of local residents, many of whom have lived here their whole lives. The road outside can get quite narrow and busy, especially during festival times or when there’s a lot of traffic heading toward the temple. Inside the centre, things are kept simple. We have rooms for consultations and a small area where people wait their turn. It’s not a massive facility, but it serves the purpose for the people who live nearby and don’t want to travel too far for medical help. The staff here are mostly local folks who speak the language and understand what the community needs. We spend a lot of time talking to patients, listening to their complaints, and writing out prescriptions or advice. It can be a bit slow some afternoons when the sun is high, but the mornings are usually a rush. We don’t have fancy decorations on the walls, just the necessary medical posters and a clock that ticks a bit too loud. It’s a practical environment where we just look at the health of the people who walk in. We’ve been at this address for a while and are a familiar part of the street where everyone knows everyone.
