Mandram Indic Talks Foundation is based in Mandaveli, which is a well-known part of Chennai. Our office is at 74/69 on Mandavelli Street. If you know Chennai, you know how these streets can be—busy, narrow in places, and full of life. We are right in the middle of all that. The foundation works out of a small space that we’ve made our own. It isn't a corporate glass building; it is a regular Chennai street house turned into an office. We have books and papers scattered around because we do a lot of talking and thinking here. Mandavelli has a certain old-world charm that we really like, and it suits the kind of work we do. Most days involve sitting around a table and discussing things that matter to us. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or a sleek reception area. It’s more likely you’ll find a half-empty glass of tea on someone’s desk. We like it that way because it feels real. The neighbors are mostly families who have lived on Mandavelli Street for generations. We try not to make too much noise, though our discussions can get a bit spirited sometimes. Being in this part of Chennai keeps us connected to the roots of the city. It is a simple place for a foundation that values honest conversation and local culture. We are just here doing our bit.
