We are located in Spencer Plaza on Anna Salai, which is one of the most famous spots on Mount Road. Our office is at 715-A on the 7th floor. Being in a place as big as Spencer Plaza means there’s always something going on. The building is quite old now and you can see that in the hallways and the elevators. Our office is a standard room that we’ve filled with desks and a lot of storage for all our documents. It’s not a very big space, so it can feel a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time. The lighting is quite plain and we don’t have any windows that look outside, just into the corridor. It’s a very functional environment. We focus on resourcing and that involves a lot of phone calls and sorting through files. It’s not a glamorous job. We have a small area for our bags and a tiny table where we keep the water bottles. The plaza is always full of people, so it never feels lonely, but it’s definitely not a quiet spot. We’ve been here for years and we know all the shortcuts through the mall. It’s just a regular office where we do our work and try to stay organized in the middle of all the city noise. We get things done as best we can.
