Madras Medical Mission

You can find the Madras Medical Mission over in J J Nagar, specifically at 4a Dr J J Nagar. It’s a decent-sized place, but we try to keep it feeling like a regular part of the neighborhood. The area around J J Nagar is usually buzzing with activity, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We have a lot of different people working here, from nurses to office staff, and everyone just tries to get through the day's tasks. It’s a medical facility, so it’s mostly about helping folks who aren’t feeling their best. We don't have any polished brochures or fancy slogans. We just have our doors open for whoever needs to come in. The rooms are plain and we keep things as organized as we can. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but that is just how it is in this line of work. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Most of our patients live within a few miles of here. It’s a practical environment where we just focus on health. No one here is trying to be a corporate executive. We are just local workers doing what needs to be done. It’s often busy, but we make it work. Every day is a bit different, but the goal is always just to see the people waiting and get them the help they came for without making it a big ordeal or a mess.
