Shivsai Logistics And Services is located at 3/111 Chenduran Colony, right on 1st Street in Madipakkam. It is a residential kind of area, so it’s a bit quieter than being on a main road, which is nice. We have a small office set up here. There is a tree outside that shades the front of the building in the mornings. We deal with a lot of logistics stuff, which mostly means we are on our phones all day coordinating with drivers and checking where things are. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us on our toes. The room we work in has a few desks pushed together and a white board with names and numbers scrawled all over it. Madipakkam is a good place for us because it’s easy to get to different parts of the city from here. We started this small business because we knew the area well. Most days it’s just the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional motorbike passing by on the street outside. We keep a water cooler in the corner and a stack of delivery slips on the shelf. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address on the door. It feels more like a home office than a corporate space, which is how we like it. I often have to move my chair because the floor is a bit uneven in that one corner.
