Lead By Design Foundation is located at No. 2/665 on the 1st Main Road in Manappakkam. We’re right here in Chennai, 600125. Our office is a simple place where we spend most of our time trying to organize things for the foundation. We aren't designers in the traditional sense, but we like the idea of setting things up the right way for our community. It started as a small project among friends and eventually grew into what it is today. We don't have a big corporate structure or any of that fancy talk you hear from big foundations in the city center. We’re just folks from Manappakkam who want to see things improve. The 1st Main Road is a busy spot, so we get a lot of people walking by and asking what we do. We usually just tell them we’re trying to help out with local needs. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we run into hurdles with all the regulations and paperwork. But we keep at it because we live here too. We don't have a PR team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just write down what we’re doing and hope it makes sense to people. It’s a very direct way of working. No frills, no fuss, just a small group of people in Chennai trying to do their part for the neighborhood. We keep our doors open for whoever needs to talk.
