Lagaram Welfare Foundation

You can find us at 75/20B on Vinceet Road in RN Puram. It’s a decent area and we’ve been settled here for some time now. The Lagaram Welfare Foundation operates out of a pretty basic building that we’ve made our own. We don't have any neon signs or big advertisements out front. If you weren't looking for the number, you might just walk right past us without noticing. Inside, it is just a normal workspace. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of binders full of notes. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three or four people are in the main room at the same time, but we don't mind. We prefer it this way rather than being in some cold, empty office building downtown. RN Puram is a nice community to be a part of. We see the same people walking their dogs or going to the shops every single day. It makes us feel like we belong here. We don't have a big mission statement printed on the wall. We just know what needs to be done and we try to do it as best as we can. Sometimes we fall behind on the filing, and the phone rings more than we can answer, but we eventually get through it. It’s just a group of us trying to make things a little better.
