Kwality Pharma Rubber Industries

Kwality Pharma Rubber Industries is located at Plot No. 755/2 in the Pramukh Industrial Estate out in Rakanpur. Being in an industrial estate means there are always trucks moving around and a lot of activity nearby. Our workshop is where we make different rubber parts that are used for pharmaceutical needs. The smell of rubber is quite strong inside, especially when the machines are heating up. We have several presses and molds that take up most of the floor space. It is a bit of a tight squeeze to walk around when we are in the middle of a production run. We have to be careful with the measurements because these parts are small and need to fit just right. Most of our day is spent watching the machines and trimming the excess rubber off the finished pieces. It is repetitive work, but we listen to the radio to pass the time. The office is just a small partitioned corner where we keep the records. It gets quite warm in the summer because of the heat from the presses. We are just a small group of workers doing our best to keep the machines running and the orders filled on time. We usually have lunch together in the small break area near the back door. It is just another day at the factory and we keep at it until the shift ends.
