K3 Women Foundation

We are located over at number 117 on Kamarajar 1st Street, right in the Puthukulathupalayam area of Vengamedu. It is a busy little spot and sometimes the traffic gets a bit much during the morning hours when everyone is heading to work. Our space isn't anything fancy, just a regular office where we handle things for the women in our community. Most days you will find a couple of us sitting at the desks, maybe drinking some tea while we go through the paperwork. It gets a little dusty because the street is always active, but we like being right here where people can find us easily. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It is just a few local people trying to help out. If you walk down the street, you’ll see our door is usually propped open to let a bit of a breeze in. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough that most of the shopkeepers nearby know who we are. It’s a practical place, really. We don't spend money on shiny signs or expensive furniture because that isn't what matters to us. We just keep things moving day by day. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when too many people show up at once, but we make it work. It’s just how things are around here in Vengamedu. The paint is peeling a little on the front door, but it doesn't bother us much. We’re glad to be part of the street life.
