Jesus Glory Foundation

Our place is on the ground floor at number 49 Kannadasan Street. It’s right in T. Nagar, so you can imagine how busy it gets around here. Ward 127 is a lively area with plenty going on. Being on the ground floor is lucky because it stays a bit cooler than the upper levels, and it’s easier for people to just walk in when they need us. We don't have a big lobby or anything. You just step inside and you're in the middle of our workspace. There are desks everywhere and usually a few stacks of books or flyers that need sorting. We spend most of our time organizing things for the community. T. Nagar is always noisy with the traffic and the markets nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and people talking outside. It’s just part of the background noise now. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make coffee or tea. The floor is that old-style tile you see in many Chennai houses, and it's easy to keep clean. We’ve been here for quite some time now. It's a small group of us doing the daily tasks. We don't really do much advertising or anything. People in the neighborhood know where we are. We just focus on the daily stuff that needs attention. It’s a humble spot but it serves its purpose for our foundation’s work. Sometimes we stay late on Fridays to get everything ready for the weekend, but we don't really mind the extra time.
