Intelligent Micro System Pvt. Ltd. is located in Unit No. 14 on the first floor of Block II. We are part of the Sidco Electronics Complex inside the Thiru. V. Ka. Industrial Estate in Guindy. Being in Guindy means we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity. The complex is quite old, but it is a solid place to work. We have got a fair amount of equipment packed into our unit. It is usually a bit cramped because we have parts and tools everywhere. We do a lot of small-scale electronic work. The lighting is not the best, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see what we are doing. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but we are used to them. You can hear the sounds of other businesses all around us, mostly metal clanging or fans humming. We do not really have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ins and outs of micro systems. We usually start the day early to beat some of the Guindy traffic. There is a small tea shop downstairs where we take our breaks. It is a no-nonsense kind of place. We do not spend money on fancy furniture or decorations. We would rather spend it on better soldering stations or testing gear. It is a bit messy sometimes, especially when we have a big order to get out. We just try to stay on top of things.
