Our place is at No 8/17 F2 in Zackaria Colony 1st Street, right in Kodambakkam. We are actually located next to the Kodambakkam Bridge, so you can hear the trains and the cars going over it all day long. It’s a bit of a landmark for us when giving directions. The office is on the first floor of the building. It’s a small space, mostly filled with security gadgets, wires, and some tools we use. We aren't big on interior design, so the walls are just plain and we have basic metal shelves for all the equipment. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when the whole team is in, but we usually have people out on sites anyway. The street outside is narrow and can get blocked easily if a big truck or an auto comes through at the wrong time. We’ve got a small balcony that looks towards the bridge, but we mostly use it to store a few empty boxes or old parts. It’s a practical office for an engineering firm. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the plans for the next job or talk about the day's tasks. The lighting is okay, but it gets a bit dark in the corners when the sun goes down. We’ve been in this part of Kodambakkam for a while now and we like being close to the main road. It makes it easier to get our gear out to where it needs to go. It’s a simple, hardworking environment here at Altron Security Enginering Pvt Ltd.
