Index Universe

Index Universe is over on Armenian Street. It’s a bit confusing because the address is P.O. Box No. 2000, and it’s Old No. 6 but New No. 13. That’s just how things go around here with the city changing the numbers every so often and making it hard for delivery guys. The street is always crowded with people and bikes, so it can be a bit loud during the peak hours. We are in an older building that has a lot of character, even if the stairs creak a bit when you walk up. We do a mix of things here, mostly handling orders and keeping track of shipments coming through. It’s not a huge office, just a few desks and a lot of paperwork piled up in the corners. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time and know most of the shopkeepers nearby. Lunch usually comes from the food stall around the corner. We don't have a big corporate structure. If something needs doing, one of us just grabs it and gets it done. The windows are usually open to catch a breeze, though it mostly just brings in the city noise. We just keep things moving every day at a steady pace. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the basic work that keeps the business running from one month to the next. It’s just how we live and work.
