Hulikkal Agri & Dairy Private Limited operates out of a building at 31-31A on Prakasam Street. If you know T. Nagar, you know it’s a crowded area with plenty of noise and people moving about. Having an agri and dairy business right here in the middle of Chennai feels a bit different than being out in the fields, but this is where we manage things from. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that keeps the farming side moving. Our office is a bit cramped with files and people talking on phones, trying to coordinate shipments or checking on the livestock supplies. It isn't a polished corporate environment. There are usually empty tea glasses on the desks and stacks of ledgers that need sorting. We have been part of the T. Nagar community for a bit, and while the traffic outside is a nightmare, we like being central. The work involves a lot of back-and-forth between the city and the rural areas where the actual dairy happens. It is a lot of long hours and sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a shipment is late or a driver gets lost. But we manage to pull it through. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else on Prakasam Street.
