Hindu Mission Health Services sits on 100 Feet Road in Nanganallur. It’s right there in Hindu Colony. This part of Chennai is always moving, and 100 Feet Road is one of the main ways people get around. Our building has been part of the community for a long time. People know us as the place near the colony. We handle a lot of different health issues every day. It’s not just one thing. People come in with fever, or for small injuries, or just regular checkups. The waiting room has rows of chairs and a fan that clicks a little when it’s on high. We try to keep the place organized, but when it’s busy, it gets a bit noisy. The staff here are used to the pace. They talk to the patients like neighbors because, honestly, most of them are neighbors. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a functional space meant for medical work. You can see the traffic moving outside the front windows. Sometimes the humidity makes the floors a bit sticky, but we mop them often.
