Hilinks Tecnologies is tucked away in Kumaran Nagar, specifically at No. 14/7 on VOC Street in Padi. It’s a ground floor office, which makes it easy to move things in and out without having to deal with stairs or elevators. Chennai is a big city, but this little pocket of Padi feels like its own community. Most of us who work here have a short commute, which is a blessing given the traffic. The office isn't anything spectacular to look at, just a functional space where we set up our tech equipment and get to work. We spend our days looking at screens and troubleshooting various things. There’s usually a few bikes parked outside the door and the sound of the neighborhood passing by. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room; you just walk in and see everyone working. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered with wires and old hardware, but we know where everything is. VOC Street is a typical Chennai street, a bit narrow and busy during the rush hours. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten to know the tea stall owner around the corner quite well. It’s a simple setup we have going. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny building. We just want to do our tech work and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a quiet life in Kumaran Nagar, and that suits us just fine.
