Hatimi Hardware & Pneumatics

Hatimi Hardware & Pneumatics is located at 63/33 on Katchaleeswarar Agraham Kovil Street in the Parrys area. Parrys is a place where you can find just about anything if you look hard enough, and our street is no different. It’s a narrow road named after the temple, and it gets quite congested during the day. We have been here for a long time, selling hardware and pneumatic supplies to whoever walks in. The building is old, and the floors are a bit uneven, but it has character. We have boxes stacked high, sometimes reaching nearly to the ceiling. It’s just a few of us running the show, and we’ve learned to navigate the piles of stock without tripping. We don't do much in the way of advertising; people usually find us because their father or their boss told them we’d have what they need. We talk to a lot of regulars every day, mostly local contractors and mechanics. We keep a pot of tea going, and there is usually some conversation about the weather or the traffic. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, face-to-face and without any fuss. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just open up the shutters in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait to see who needs help with their hardware. It’s a good life here in Parrys, even with all the noise outside our door.
