Glubus Engineering

Down here in Mahalakshmi Nagar, specifically at No : 2/2, things stay pretty noisy. That is just the way engineering shops are. We handle various metal works and small parts for machines. Poonamallee is a busy area, so there is always traffic and people moving about outside our doors. Inside, the floors are usually covered in some metal shavings or oil spots, no matter how much we sweep. It is a working space, not a showroom. We have a couple of old lathes and some newer tools that we use daily. Usually, someone brings in a part that snapped or needs a bit of refining, and we get to it when we can. Some days are just filled with the sound of grinding and cutting. It’s hard to hear the phone ring sometimes over the noise. We keep a small desk in the corner for paperwork, but it’s mostly covered in tools right now. The crew has been together for a few years, so we all know who is good at what. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the wall. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the middle of the block. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze for larger trucks, but we manage. Most of the work is just steady, honest labor that keeps the machines running for everyone else in the area.
