Giving Matters Foundation

Giving Matters Foundation is located in Teynampet, which is a pretty busy part of Chennai. We are on the fourth floor of the Mecheri Centre, right at No. 49 on Eldams Road. Being on the fourth floor means we have to use the lift quite a bit, though some of us take the stairs when we are in a hurry. The office is just a regular room with some desks and a small area for files. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings; it feels a bit more lived-in and practical. Eldams Road always has a lot of traffic, so you can usually hear the horns and the buses from the windows if they are open. The pin code here is 600018. We have been in this building for a while now. It is a convenient spot because there are plenty of places to grab lunch nearby. Inside, it is mostly just us sitting around our computers and talking through what needs to be finished. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls or anything like that. It’s just a place where work happens. Some of the furniture is a bit old, but it does the job. Most people who visit us are just looking for the right floor in the Mecheri Centre. It’s a straightforward workplace for our small team to stay organized and keep track of everything we are working on throughout the week.
