Geta Foundation

We're based in Flat 26, which is inside No 5 on Krishnaraj Nagar 1St Street. That's over in Adambakkam, Kancheepuram. It’s a residential-style setup for Geta Foundation. We aren't in a big skyscraper or a business park. We just use this flat as our main workspace. It’s got a kitchen area and a couple of rooms where we’ve put our computers and files. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside in the street, so it’s never really silent, but we like the life it brings to the place. We do all our planning and day-to-day tasks from here. It’s a bit tight when we have everyone in the office at once, but we make it work. We don't have a fancy lobby or a security guard at the door. You just come up to the flat. It’s a very direct and honest way to work. Most of the people on the street know us by now. We don't bother with corporate jargon or polished speeches. We just handle our business as it comes. The 1st Street in Krishnaraj Nagar is a pretty easy place to find once you're in Adambakkam. We’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. It’s just a plain flat where a few people get together to get things done. No bells and whistles, just us working away in Kancheepuram. We mostly just keep to our schedule.
