GE Tek Electronic Pvt. Ltd. is located right on the ground floor at No. 13 Evalappan Street. We are over in the Tambaram Santorium area. It’s a pretty quiet street most of the time, which is nice for the kind of work we do. Electronics can be finicky, so having a bit of peace helps when we are looking at boards or testing components. The shop is small but we use every inch of it. There are shelves everywhere filled with parts and tools we’ve picked up over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do a good job with the electronics people bring to us. Most of the folks who work here live nearby, so we’re a local bunch. We open up early and usually stay until the last job is finished for the day. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be fixed next. It’s a humble setup. No big shiny signs or corporate uniforms here. We wear what's comfortable for working and we talk like regular people. If you’re looking for the place, just look for the number 13 on the ground floor. We’re usually there, surrounded by wires and soldering irons, just getting on with it. It's a bit messy but we know where everything is. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound, but we’re used to it by now.
