Water World

You can find us on the first floor over at No 1 Perianna Maistry Street. It’s right in the middle of a very busy part of Chennai. We share the space with Madras Hard Tools, so if you see their sign, you know you’re in the right place. The street outside is always crowded with people and traffic, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their work started. It’s one of those old buildings where you have to watch your step on the stairs. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street, but not by much. We deal with water-related stuff, which is what the name Water World is about. It’s mostly just us handling orders and talking to people who come by the office. Chennai heat can be something else, so we keep the fans going all day long. There isn't much to look at in the office, just desks and paperwork and boxes of parts. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking what we have in stock. Being near the port area means there’s always something moving nearby. We don’t have a big showroom or fancy lights. It’s just a practical workspace for a local business. People know us by word of mouth mostly. We keep things simple and try to get through the daily tasks without too much fuss or extra talk.
