Down at No.10, Anna Enclave, you’ll find the Fwc Entrepreneurs Enabling Foundation. We are located on the East Coast Road in Enjambakkam, which is a part of Chennai that has a very specific, relaxed feel. Being near the coast means there is always a bit of salt in the air and a decent breeze if you’re lucky enough to be outside. Our office isn’t huge, but it fits the few of us who work here every day without feeling too crowded or noisy. The traffic on ECR can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually start our day pretty early to beat the rush and get the best parking spot on the street. Inside, it’s a bit cluttered with books, laptops, and half-finished projects on the tables and shelves. We spend a lot of time talking to people who want to start something new but don't know where to begin. It’s not a high-pressure environment; we take things as they come and try not to stress too much. We don’t use any of those big business words you hear in the city centers. We just talk plain English and try to figure out practical solutions for whoever walks through our door. Sometimes we sit out on the porch when the sun isn't too hot and just brainstorm ideas. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small shops, and the local tea stall is where we spend most of our breaks.
